Straight From the Horse's Mouth

I was flipping through the channels tonight and caught a part of Jeff Probst's interview with Glenn Beck on my local station. Pretty interesting stuff....Probst apparently has a long-standing feud with Jonny Fairplay (so he wasn't heartbroken by the results of last night's tribal council....see my next post, the mini-cap, for the lowdown).

Other highlights - he talked about his charity work, both with the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation (which receives the proceeds of all the SURVIVOR booty auctioned off) and his own, which provides a "Big Brother" (hee) situation with a disadvantaged youth.

He also said Jonathon Penner (the Alan Alda look-alike who mutinied against his tribe on Survivor:Cook Islands) was a go-to man when he needs a memorable comeback at tribal council. No surprise there - Penner is a talented writer/producer, so he should be quick with a quip.

Unfortunately, I missed the part where Probst discussed his relationship with former Survivor contestant Julie Berry....I'm taping the show when it reruns at midnight, so stay tuned for all the juicy details.
